In the Syrdarya region, a Lacetti driver was stopped while transporting 361 kilograms of donkey meat. This was reported on the National TV channel's "Millar" show.

According to the information, on May 25th, a Lacetti moving in the direction from Qarshi to Tashkent was stopped and inspected in the presence of impartial witnesses. Meat products were found in the trunk of the car.

During the interrogation, the driver claimed that the meat did not belong to him and that he was merely delivering it to a specified address.

According to an employee of the Public Safety Department of the Syrdarya regional DIA (Department of Internal Affairs), within the quarantine measures group, the car contained 361 kilograms of meat belonging to an unidentified animal. When the products were transferred to the Syrdarya regional veterinary and livestock development department laboratory, it was identified as donkey meat.

Currently, an investigation is being conducted by the Investigative Department of the Traffic Safety Authority under the Syrdarya district DIA regarding this case.
