The Pop district court on criminal cases found this citizen guilty of committing crimes stipulated in parts 1 and 2 of Article 28,246 and part 5 of Article 25,273 of the Criminal Code, and sentenced him to 15 years of deprivation of liberty.
It is noted that on November 12, 2024, during a rapid operation conducted by the State Security Service in the Namangan region, a "Lasetti" type automobile was stopped in the territory of the Pop district.
When the car was inspected in the presence of witnesses, it was discovered that in the luggage belonging to a citizen born in 1984, residing in the Dangara district of Fergana region and traveling as a passenger, there were 3 kg. 887 gr. of "opium" and 9 kg. 839 gr. of "hashish" substances, which were duly documented.
During the pre-investigation checks, it was revealed that he had colluded with a citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan, planning to smuggle narcotic substances from the neighbouring state, sell them, and make substantial profit, and he had received this deadly poison in the Buka district of Tashkent region.
Furthermore, within the scope of the criminal case initiated regarding the situation, the rapid-investigation actions were continued, and in August-September 2024, narcotics delivered by a Tajik drug dealer to the territory of the Buka district and hidden by this person on his own land plot in the Dangara district, including 1 kg. 902 gr. of "opium" and 857 gr. of "hashish" substances, as well as 1 "Makarov" pistol, 2 magazines, and 18 cartridges were also procedurally documented.
