Kabul has presented a nominee for the position of Ambassador of Afghanistan in the Russian Federation to Moscow, according to the Russian state media as reported, this was disclosed by Zamir Kabulov, the Russian President's special representative for Afghanistan.

Earlier, the Supreme Court of Russia had lifted the ban on the activities of the "Taliban" movement, which had been included in the list of terrorist organizations. According to an interview with Zamir Kabulov, the Russian President's special representative for Afghanistan, given to RIA Novosti, the arrival of the Afghan ambassador appointed by the Taliban government will put an end to the issue of recognizing the Afghan government.
