On May 8 of the current year, Mubashir Ahmad (Alisher Tursunov), the founder of the information-analytical portal “Azon Global,” was taken from his home in the Bahçeşehir district of Istanbul under suspicion. This was reported by the “Azon Global” portal.

According to reports, on the day of Alisher Tursunov's arrest, a preliminary investigation was conducted with the participation of his lawyers. According to the last information communicated to the lawyers on that day, after the investigation, Alisher Tursunov was supposed to be transferred to the Deportation Center in Istanbul and then released the following day.

“However, even after 4 days have passed, the Immigration Department has not provided any information about the whereabouts, health, or court proceedings of the detainee to either his lawyers or relatives,” the report says.

Moreover, the portal added that according to Turkish law, the family of the person held in custody must be informed about this, and the person himself must also be allowed to communicate with his relatives.

“To this point, even his lawyers have not been able to receive any news from him or even know where he is being held, causing his family and relatives to be justifiably worried. The reason being that mentor Mubashir Ahmad has been suffering for many years from diabetes and high blood pressure and is required to regularly take insulin and other medications,” states “Azon Global.”
