“On additional measures to ensure the quality of education and to improve the system of providing educational services” Presidential Decree (PF-76, 05.05.2025) has been adopted, reports the Ministry of Justice.
The main goal of the decree is to establish mechanisms for external evaluation of the activities of educational and scientific-research institutions, and to improve the quality of educational services provided.
According to the decree, the National Agency for Ensuring the Quality of Education (Agency) will be established.
The Agency is considered the specially authorized state body in this field.
The Agency will conduct comprehensive and special state accreditation of secondary specialized, vocational, higher and postgraduate education institutions (educational institutions), as well as organizations for retraining and advanced training of personnel. In this regard:
- comprehensive state accreditation is conducted every 5 years based on the results of external assessment of educational institutions;
- special state accreditation is conducted before the start of the educational programs for training personnel.
Additionally, the Agency will conduct a National Employers Survey to study the compatibility of graduates of educational institutions with the demands of the modern labor market.
