The procedure for allocating subsidies and credits to citizens involved in labor migration has been established.

A government resolution was adopted on this matter.

“Measures to further improve the system of organizing the employment of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad” Government decree (No. 252, April 22, 2025) was adopted. The Ministry of Justice reported about this.

According to the decision, a "Training Center for Work Abroad" will be established and services related to labor migration will be provided based on the "Single Window" principle.

Also, by increasing the number of passenger buses, cheap and orderly transportation will be arranged for citizens going to and returning from temporary labor activities abroad.

With the decision, the Regulation on the procedure for allocating subsidies, compensations, and loans to citizens going abroad for labor activities and those in labor migration was approved.

According to the Regulation, subsidies and compensations for the following expenses will be allocated to the citizens registered in the "Work Abroad" labor migration electronic program suite and going to labor migration in an organized manner, including:

  • for covering the expenses of taking language and (or) professional qualification exams, up to 3 times the Basic Calculation Amount (BCA) when they are successfully passed and a certificate is obtained;
  • for covering the expenses of formalizing a "work visa" for labor activities abroad - up to 5 times the BCA;
  • for covering the expenses related to purchasing a travel ticket - up to 2 times the BCA;
  • for up to 50 teachers who have obtained an international certificate of at least a B1 level or equivalent in German, English, Japanese, and Korean languages - 50 million Uzbek som.

Commercial banks will grant microcredits up to 10 million Uzbek soms for 2 years at an interest rate 4 percent higher than the Central Bank's key rate to citizens going to developed countries for temporary labor activities in an organized manner.
