In accordance with the instructions of our country's leader, the representatives of the Republic Working Group led by the Presidential Administration and the People's Reception Office continue their activities to reduce poverty and unemployment, ensure employment for the population, and prepare for the winter season in the most remote and socio-economically challenged areas.
Specifically, the Deputy Secretary of Presidential Affairs – the head of the People's Reception Office, Ulugbek Muhammadiev, led the working group representatives' next destination was Khiva district in Khorezm region.
Under the leadership of the Presidential Administration, based on the inquiries and investigations received at the Virtual and People's Reception Offices, several needy families were checked on, and necessary assistance was provided.
For example, at the “Istiqlol” neighbourhood, a visit was made to the home of the applicant Dilnoza Khudoyorova, who is listed in the “Women's Notebook" and has lost her provider, where she was provided with a sewing machine and necessary equipment to help her engage in self-employment and generate additional income for her family.
Furthermore, warm conversations were held with the elderly residents of the neighbourhood, the issues troubling the population were listened to, and plans for practical work were made in collaboration with the relevant authorities to address these issues.
Right there, “neighbourhood committee” members held extensive discussions, and instructions were given to strictly organize work according to the directions provided by our President for reducing unemployment and poverty in the areas, and responsible persons were designated.
The group led by Ulugbek Muhammadiev visited the “Istiqlol” neighbourhood to prepare for the winter season and became closely acquainted with beautification efforts and provided practical assistance to rectify identified deficiencies. In the neighbourhood, tree planting activities were also carried out as part of the “Green Space” national project.
Moreover, with the blessings of the elderly, charitable acts continued, with sponsors performing sacrifices and distributing them to underprivileged and orphaned families within the neighbourhood.
The activities of the Republic Working Group continue.
