This was announced in a decree signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on May 10.
According to the decree, this high award was granted to him for his many years of effective work in state bodies and public organizations, for his contribution to strengthening interethnic friendship and harmony in the country, and for promoting the ideas of mutual respect, tolerance, and solidarity among representatives of different nationalities and ethnic groups.
He was also deemed worthy for his activities in the development of national cultures, customs, and traditions, the upbringing of the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and loyalty, the enhancement of respect for universal human values, and his active participation in social life.
The award was also given in connection with his 75th birthday.
Currently, Rahmatulla Jabborov serves as the chairman of the Kyrgyz National Cultural Center of Uzbekistan.
