According to Zoir Yoldoshev, citizens deprived of their driver's license are required to retake exams and study at driving schools. Additionally, the theoretical exam procedure has been tightened.
Now, drivers must correctly answer at least 46 out of 50 questions, rather than 18 out of 20 as before.
Let us recall that earlier it was reported that the first case of exceeding 12 points under the penalty points system in Uzbekistan had been recorded.
For reference, starting from June 1, 2025, penalty points will be calculated based on protocols issued by traffic police officers.
Furthermore, from April 1, penalty points are also applied for certain violations detected by automatic cameras, including disobeying a traffic light's prohibitory signal, violating stopping and parking rules, driving into oncoming traffic, and failing to comply with speed limits.
