According to the report, as a result of rapid operations conducted in cooperation with the National Central Bureau of Interpol in the city of Tbilisi, the exact location of the wanted person was identified and he was apprehended.
It was noted that the Ministry of Justice of Georgia granted the extradition request from the General Prosecutor's Office of Uzbekistan. Subsequently, this individual was brought to the city of Tashkent with the participation of staff from the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Uzbekistan.
Currently, procedural actions are being carried out against him in accordance with the procedure established by law.
Let us recall that since the beginning of 2026, a number of Uzbek citizens placed on the wanted list through Interpol have been detained in foreign countries and returned to the country. In particular, in February, several citizens were extradited from the United Arab Emirates, and in March, from Turkey, Bahrain, and the United States.
