In the Samarkand region, 11 methane filling stations were fined for artificially inflating prices.
According to reports, the Competition Committee reviewed a complaint about unjustified price increases at CNG filling stations in the Payariq district. Citizens complained that methane prices were higher than in neighboring districts and had risen sharply.
During inspections, it was found that 11 out of 12 filling stations had increased gas prices by 300 soums per cubic meter starting from January 5.
The inspection revealed that these stations belong to 8 enterprises. Among them are companies such as "Temur-Bek," "Sadaf Agro Service," "Raqobat Eco Gas Service," "Jahongir Prestige," and "Amirkhon Gas Service."
Cases have been initiated against these 8 enterprises, and fines have been imposed. Additionally, instructions have been issued to eliminate violations and prevent such situations from recurring.
