In May, Uzbeks will have additional days off on the occasion of several holidays.

The main holidays are set in connection with Remembrance and Appreciation Day and Eid al-Adha.

According to the President's decision, the following days are established as days off:

May 9 (Saturday) — holiday

May 11 (Monday) — additional day off for a 5-day work week

May 28 (Thursday) — Eid al-Adha (tentative date)

May 29 (Friday) — additional day off for everyone

Thus, in May, citizens can expect two long holiday periods.
