From April 1–22, non-cash revenues in Uzbekistan increased significantly, with the majority of payments being made via bank cards.
According to the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the volume of non-cash payments during this period exceeded 2.49 trillion soums. The average daily revenue amounted to 113.1 billion soums.
Additionally, a total of 20.9 million transactions were carried out over the 22 days, with an average daily figure of 951,000.
According to analysis, 92.9% of revenues were made via bank cards: 88.1% through regular cards and 4.8% through QR code payments.
The Central Bank notes that these indicators show the growing share of non-cash payments among the population.
