This decision was made to allow time for negotiations to continue.
According to the U.S. President's statement, the peace will remain in effect until Iran develops a "single proposal." At the same time, he emphasized that the blockade in the Strait of Hormuz will remain and the army will stay in a combat-ready state.
Meanwhile, Iran refused to participate in the next stage of the negotiations. Tehran explained this decision by the U.S.'s "excessive demands," describing such dialogue as ineffective.
The negotiations were planned to be held in Islamabad, but the process has stalled. In the meantime, the visit of U.S. Vice President James David Vance has also been postponed for an indefinite period.
For now, the situation between the parties remains unclear, and peace is assessed only as a temporary measure.
