According to meteorologists' forecasts, there is a possibility of mudflows and flash floods occurring in the foothill and mountainous areas of the republic as a result of the rains expected in the coming days.
In particular, a number of districts in the Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, Samarkand, Navoi, Jizzakh, Tashkent, Namangan, Fergana, and Andijan regions have been indicated as risk zones.
Experts called on citizens living in mountainous areas, vacationers, and drivers to strengthen precautionary measures.
It was also noted that in some places, rainwater may accumulate and temporarily inundate areas.
