He has rendered great service in the socio-economic development of our country, in improving the system of state governance, and in training a new generation of economists.
Vyacheslav Golyshev was born on May 4, 1951, in the city of Omsk, Russian Federation. In 1972, he graduated from the Tashkent Institute of National Economy, receiving the specialty of economist, and in 1980, he defended his candidate's dissertation at Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov.
He began his labor activity in the printing industry, later worked in various positions at the Tashkent Institute of National Economy, the State Planning Committee, and republican party and state bodies. From 1992 to 1995, he served as Deputy Director of the Institute of World Problems under the President, and as First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Forecasting and Statistics.
From 2005 to 2006, as Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Economy, and head of the economic and foreign economic relations complex, he led our country's socio-economic policy. At the same time, he worked for many years as a State Advisor to the President, actively participating in the development of state programs and conceptual documents.
He was elected several times as a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan, contributing to the development of legislation and parliamentarism. He also paid great attention to training a new generation of economic personnel.
Vyacheslav Golyshev was awarded the honorary title "Honored Economist of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and the "Friendship" order. The memory of him as a devoted servant of our country, a scientist, and a kind mentor for the youth will forever remain in our hearts.
