According to Troll.uz, a fire occurred between the 9th and 13th floors of the "O'z Zamin" residential complex in Tashkent. The causes of the fire are currently being investigated.
The complex was supposed to be commissioned in the second quarter of 2025, but despite a year having passed, it has not yet been put into operation.
Nevertheless, some families have been forced to move into the unfinished apartments.
It is noted that shareholders are afraid to write openly about the problems — the reason for this is the severe penalties stipulated in the contract.
Although officials had previously stated that these clauses were contrary to legislation, the situation remains unchanged.
The recent fire showed that behind the delays lie not only financial, but also serious safety problems.
