It became known that individuals operating without a license in the Jondor district demanded thousands of dollars from citizens.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a married couple living in the Jondor district of the Bukhara region has been engaged in fraud for a long time. Without having the appropriate license, they promised to send citizens on an Umrah pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.

It is reported that the suspects gained the trust of four citizens and intended to take $1,025 USD from each.

During a rapid response operation, the couple was caught red-handed while fraudulently obtaining a total of $4,000 USD.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against them under Part 3, paragraph "v" of Article 168 of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being carried out.
