Birth statistics recorded in 2025 revealed unexpected figures by fathers' age.

According to data from the National Statistics Committee, a total of 879,599 births were registered in Uzbekistan in 2025.

The majority of these corresponded to fathers aged 25–39, constituting 718,798 individuals.

Furthermore, fathers under 25 years old accounted for 97,917 individuals, while those aged 40–59 accounted for 62,246 individuals.

Interestingly, the number of fathers aged 60 and older was 638. Among them, 48 individuals became fathers at over 70 years old, a situation that drew particular attention.
