Tomorrow, on March 19, the opening ceremony of the memorial complex of the great hadith scholar Imam Bukhari will be held in the Payariq district of the Samarkand region. This was announced today, March 18, at a meeting on the socio-economic development of the Samarkand region, chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in the Narpay district.
It was noted that at the beginning of his speech, the head of state sincerely congratulated those gathered on the upcoming blessed holiday of Ramadan and the auspicious days of Navruz. It was emphasized that in the four months since the last visit to Samarkand, significant changes have taken place in the life of the country.
Just this week, the 3rd copper processing plant was launched in the city of Almalyk, and in the capital, the Center of Islamic Civilization, which is a spiritual treasure not only of Uzbekistan but of the entire Central Asia, was opened.

"I am confident that this magnificent shrine will become a blessed place visited by our people along with millions of foreign tourists," said the President.
He also noted the need to act more effectively to achieve the set goals.
"We have taken on even greater goals to increase the power of our Homeland and improve the life of every family and every person. Seeing the work being carried out in the regions today, I have once again become convinced of this.
At the same time, we must understand well that yesterday's actions are insufficient for today, and today's for tomorrow. Therefore, we must act more effectively to achieve the set goals," said the head of state.
It was noted that Samarkand must become a model region in all areas, including issues of unemployment, poverty, investment, and export.
100 million dollars have been allocated for improving the infrastructure of neighborhoods in the region, and another 50 million dollars specifically for the Urgut district. In general, 11 trillion soums are being directed to the region from all sources. An additional 18 trillion soums in resources are being provided for loans to entrepreneurs.
It was pointed out that in terms of volume, this amount of funding is greater than ever before.
