It has been confirmed that Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh, the widow of Iran's former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is alive. Initial reports of her death were incorrect. This was reported by the "Fars News" agency.

Yesterday, March 12, Iran's current Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, in his first official speech, did not mention his mother among his recently deceased relatives. He stated that his spouse, sister, nephew, and niece were killed as a result of US and Israeli attacks, and expressed deep condolences to the families of the martyrs.

"Fars News" agency confirmed these speculations, emphasizing that some publications had mistakenly reported the news of the former leader's spouse being martyred.

Furthermore, Mojtaba Khamenei strongly emphasized in his address that the Strait of Hormuz, a vital route for international shipping, would remain closed. He stated that the army and the people's resistance school would continue its effective defense against the enemy.
