The Center for Combating Disinformation under the Ministry of Communications of Turkey emphasized in its statement that there is no military base belonging to any foreign state on the country's territory.

It was noted that Turkey's airspace, land and sea borders, and all military facilities are under full national sovereignty and control.

According to the Center's information, no attack has been carried out against the country. It was also emphasized that reports aimed at portraying Turkey as a participant in regional conflicts are baseless.

Furthermore, Uzbekistan's Consulate General in Istanbul also stated that these reports do not correspond to reality and called on citizens to rely only on official sources.

Earlier, reports had circulated about a decision being issued against Kenan Şener, the chief editor of the Ankara news agency. He was alleged to have broadcast activities at the "Incirlik" airbase live.
