Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the "New Uzbekistan" residential area under construction in the Jarkurghon district of the Surkhandarya region.
To date, 68 multi-story buildings have been commissioned in the area, and 1.5 thousand families have moved in. Additionally, a school, kindergarten, polyclinic, and service facilities have been launched.
The President familiarized himself with the conditions at School No. 66 and the foreign languages and IT education center in the residential area, emphasizing the importance of teaching young people artificial intelligence, digitalization, and foreign languages.
He also gave instructions to officials on further improving the area and expanding amenities for the population.
