According to the Andijan Regional Traffic Safety Department, in the Baliqchi district of Andijan region, on February 24, the driver of a ZIL-130 truck hit a child born in 2017 who ran out onto a pedestrian crossing at a regulated intersection.
Despite the medical treatment provided at the hospital, the child, who sustained severe bodily injuries, died.
Regarding the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being carried out.
