According to "Trading Economics" analysis, the average interest rate on loans in Uzbekistan as of January 1, 2026, was 23.4 percent.

By this indicator, the country ranked only after Turkey and Zimbabwe.

For comparison, loans in the USA are around 6–7 percent, and in Kazakhstan, around 17–18 percent. According to experts, in 2026, following an increase in bank requirements, loan conditions for the population could become even stricter.
