On February 16-17, heavy rains may cause mudflows and floods in the foothill and mountainous areas of the republic.
"Uzhydromet" forecasts that, following, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, Samarkand, Navoi, Jizzakh, Tashkent, Namangan, Fergana, and Andijan regions in February.
In particular, citizens living in mountainous and foothill areas, vacationers, and drivers moving along these routes are asked to observe precautionary measures.
It was also noted that in some areas, the accumulation of rainwater may result in low-lying areas being flooded.
