A group of men got into a fistfight at the Urikzor market in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent city. The capital's DIA issued an official statement regarding the incident.
According to it, the incident occurred in the market area located in the "Yusuf Sakoqiy" neighborhood. Preliminary investigations indicate that a dispute that arose between a driver and citizens during a traffic situation escalated into a mutual confrontation.
During the investigation, it was established that the parties used force against each other, and metal objects and stones were used at the scene. It was reported that some participants sustained bodily injuries.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 277 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code regarding this incident. It is stated in the official statement that preliminary investigative actions are currently being carried out, and a legal assessment will be given to the actions of all participants.
