Today, on February 3, the Uzbekistan national futsal team took to the field for the Asian Cup quarter-final match.
Nadir Eliboev's students played this match against the Iranian national team and suffered a 4:7 defeat.
In the match, Ixtiyor Ropiev opened the scoring first, and then Elbek To'lqinov became the author of the second goal. However, the Iranians quickly responded, took the lead in the game, and exploited the goal a total of six times.
Towards the end of the second half, Sunnatilla Jo'raev and Muzaffar Ahajonov reduced the score, but this was not enough to level the gap. The final goal of the match was also scored by the Iranian national team.
Thus, Uzbekistan lost 4:7 and concluded its participation in the competition.
