Following the conclusion of the fourth meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan signed a Joint Statement and a Decision on cooperation mechanisms within the framework of comprehensive strategic partnership.
Furthermore, a package of bilateral documents covering multifaceted cooperation between the two countries was adopted.
They include agreements in the fields of healthcare, education and military medicine, economic and financial cooperation, the mining industry, development of international transport corridors, special economic zones, nuclear safety and radiation protection, and migration.
In addition, a cooperation program for 2026–2027 between the ministries of religious affairs and foreign affairs, a joint plan in the cultural sphere, as well as declarations in the fields of education and light industry were signed.
