The driver died in the hospital after a "Captiva" car overturned on a mountain road.
A traffic accident occurred on January 19, 2026, at approximately 21:00 in the territory of the "Yordon" neighborhood of Fergana district. According to reports, A.A., born in 1981, was driving a "Captiva" brand car on a small mountain pass road not intended for vehicular traffic.
Due to snowfall and the slippery road, the driver lost control and the vehicle overturned. As a result of the incident, the driver sustained a severe bodily injury—"closed head injury, comatose state"—and was hospitalized.
However, despite the medical assistance provided, he passed away. Regarding the incident, the relevant investigative procedures are being carried out by the Fergana Regional DIA DTS DIA.
