According to an infographic presented by Forbes and Visual Capitalist, Elon Musk became the richest person in the world in 2026. His wealth amounted to $714.2 billion, and Musk was noted as the first person in history to surpass the $700 billion mark.

It is reported that since 2020, Musk's capital has increased almost 30-fold. The main part of his wealth corresponds to his share in SpaceX. Currently, Musk's share in the company, valued at $800 billion, is equal to $366 billion. If SpaceX's IPO is carried out in 2026, the company's value could reach up to $1.5 trillion.

The second place in the ranking was taken by Google co-founder Larry Page. His wealth reached $257.7 billion, which is related to Alphabet shares increasing in value by 63% in 2025.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang secured the eighth place with a wealth of $162.5 billion. The more than 4200% growth of Nvidia shares over the last seven years has made him one of the fastest-growing billionaires in terms of wealth.

At the same time, Bill Gates's wealth has remained almost unchanged since 2020. The billionaire, who was in second place in the world at that time, had dropped to 18th place by 2026. The main reason for this is explained by his directing large amounts of funds to charitable works, including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
