For this reason, Medvedev gave Trump "friendly" advice and wrote sarcastically that if the island joins Russia, Trump could remain its "interim president."
Trump recently called himself the "interim president of Venezuela." Alluding to this, Medvedev joked, "If Russia takes Greenland, Trump will also become the interim president of Greenland."
