At the "Ravot" border checkpoint located in the Beshariq district of Fergana region, the illegal import of narcotic substances was prevented.

It is reported that a "Lasetti" model vehicle that entered Uzbekistan from the Republic of Tajikistan was thoroughly inspected through the joint efforts of the State Security Service border troops military personnel, the State Security Service Directorate for the Fergana region, and Customs officials. The car was driven by a citizen born in 1979, residing in the territory of Uzbekistan.

During the inspection process, it was found that hidden inside the vehicle's fuel tank were 10 kg 739 grams of "hashish", 412 grams of "marijuana", 35 grams of "opium", and 6945 units of a potent drug called "Royal". All material evidence was officially documented according to established procedure.

Regarding the incident, a criminal case has been initiated against the mentioned individual under Part 2 of Article 246 and Part 5 of Articles 25 and 273 of the Criminal Code, and the preventive measure of "detention" has been applied against him.

Currently, investigative actions are continuing, and necessary measures are being taken to identify the suspect's criminal connections.
