In his address to sailors aboard the USS John F. Kennedy aircraft carrier in the state of Virginia, Hargett said that Maduro was warned only three minutes before the raid. According to his words, U.S. special forces equipped with night vision devices participated in the operation.
The Pentagon chief also noted that the noise heard outside Maduro's companion was likened to the sound of an airplane. It is reported that nearly 200 American military personnel participated in the raid, first air defense was neutralized, then a special unit entered the building area.
