On the eve of January 1 of this year, individuals who organized fireworks using homemade pyrotechnics in the city of Kokand, Fergana region, were held administratively liable. This was reported by the regional Department of Internal Affairs.
It is noted that on December 31 at 23:55, residents living on A. Charkhiy street in Kokand city went out onto the roadway to celebrate the New Year and attempted to organize fireworks. Approximately 10-15 individuals fired pyrotechnic devices made by a homemade method in the village of Ohunkaynar, Uzbekistan district.
During the rapid investigative actions carried out by the District Department of Internal Affairs, the persons who committed these offenses were identified. Administrative protocols were officially drawn up against them under Article 183 (petty hooliganism) and Article 185¹ (illegal handling of pyrotechnic items) of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, and the case was sent to court.
One of the offenders explained in his statement that "a rocket-like model was made, the 'box' was wrapped with colored tape, and small-sized pyrotechnics were placed inside and fired."
According to the court decision, each of these individuals was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest and a fine in the amount of 30 times the base calculation amount.
We remind you that earlier, information spread on social networks about mass disturbances occurring on the eve of January 1 in Kokand city and a car being set on fire. Later, the Fergana regional Department of Internal Affairs denied this information.
