According to the Press Service of the Ministry of Health, as of January 1, 2026, at 17:00, a total of 1,094 infants were born across the country. Of these, 539 are boys and 555 are girls.

The highest number of births was recorded in Fergana region — 138. The following places were taken by Surkhandarya region (135), Samarkand region (125), Kashkadarya region (121), and Namangan region (110). The fewest births were in Syrdarya region, where 19 infants were born.

It is noted that among the newborns, there were 17 cases of multiple births, with a total of 37 babies born as multiples. Of these, 30 are twins, 3 are triplets, and 4 are quadruplets.
