President Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the activities of modern energy facilities being built in the Yangi Tashkent area. The construction of a station based on Trigeneration technology, designed to provide centralized heating and cooling for the city, is rapidly progressing in this area.

This technology allows for up to twice as efficient use of energy. In the first stage, 75 megawatts of power for heating and 100 megawatts for the cooling system will be generated, with an additional 17 megawatts of electricity also produced.

The head of state also visited the first semi-station being built in Yangi Tashkent and familiarized himself with the work there. This facility, with a capacity of 100 megawatts, is being implemented on a public-private partnership basis with the participation of China's "Haocheng Industry Group Limited" company.

It is noted that this will be the first closed-type semi-station in Uzbekistan, which occupies less space compared to traditional open structures, has a low noise level, and is considered to be in harmony with the city's architectural appearance.

The President emphasized the technical and economic efficiency of the facilities and their strategic importance for Yangi Tashkent, giving instructions for the high-quality implementation of the project in the future.
