According to the press service of the Tashkent city administration, the capital's main New Year tree has a height of 35 meters and has been included in the list of the tallest trees in world capitals. This indicator has allowed Tashkent to be noted among the ranks of major global metropolises.

In the announced ranking, the tallest New Year tree at 57 meters belongs to the capital of Brazil. Tashkent and Madrid, with their 35-meter trees, share second place. Cities such as Jakarta, Bucharest, Lisbon, Vienna, Warsaw, Moscow, Prague, Rome, London, and Budapest have also secured places in the ranking.

With its scale, Tashkent's main tree is evoking a festive mood among the city's residents and guests.
