The Address of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan has begun
In his address to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that the year 2025 concluded with significant economic achievements for the country.
According to the head of state, even under conditions of increased instability in world markets and disruptions in production and logistics chains, Uzbekistan's economy maintained stable growth. These results are being positively assessed by the international community and authoritative organizations.
It is noted that in 2025, Uzbekistan's gross domestic product exceeded 145 billion dollars for the first time in history. For comparison, just nine years ago, reaching an economic volume of 100 billion dollars was considered one of the major milestones.
Furthermore, export volume increased by 23 percent, amounting to 33.4 billion dollars (excluding gold — 23.5 billion dollars). Gold and foreign exchange reserves, exceeding 60 billion dollars for the first time, have become a solid financial foundation for the country's reforms.
