North Korean leader Kim Jong Un inspected the country's first nuclear-powered submarine in its history.
According to information distributed by DPRK state media on December 25, the new nuclear submarine is comparable in size to some U.S. strike submarines.
The images show that the submarine has not yet been launched and is equipped with guided missiles.
The construction of the nuclear submarine is considered one of the strategic plans announced by Kim Jong Un in 2021.
He called it an important offensive capability for ensuring national security.
