As a result of the cyberattack, the official website stopped working, and it became impossible to send shipments and track them online.
According to Euronews, problems with La Poste services have been observed since December 22. Postal office staff across the country have been forced to calm down customers expressing dissatisfaction. Also, customers of the postal operator's banking division reported that they cannot access their accounts via mobile applications.
Officials emphasized that citizens' personal data is safe and, as a temporary measure, informed that payments can be confirmed via SMS. So far, no hacker group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
