A criminal case against M.T., who is accused of escaping from the Ohangaron residential colony and raping a 3rd-grade student, has been sent to court. This was reported by Supreme Court press secretary Aziz Abidov.

It is reported that the criminal case is being considered by the Ohangaron city court of the Tashkent region. The defendant, born in 1994 in the Fergana region, is charged under Part 4 of Article 118 and Part 4 of Article 119 of the Criminal Code in relation to a 9-year-old victim. In accordance with the requirements of the Criminal Procedure Code, the case will be considered in a closed court session.

According to investigation data, M.T. was engaged in socially useful labor on October 16 while serving his sentence in the No. 50 residential colony of the Ohangaron district and at that time "disappeared to an unknown direction." He was apprehended the same day, and a custodial restraint measure was applied against him. It was stated that additional information will be provided upon completion of the court proceedings.
