According to data from the National Statistics Committee, a total of 664.6 thousand newborns were born in the country from January to September 2025.

In terms of regions, the highest number of births was observed in Samarkand region, where 80,903 newborns were born. The next places were taken by Kashkadarya (75,116) and Fergana (74,614) regions.

Furthermore, 61,128 newborns were born in Surkhandarya region, 60,131 in Andijan, and 57,881 in Namangan. In Tashkent region, 49,007 live births were recorded, and in Tashkent city, 47,703.

Relatively lower birth rates were recorded in Khorezm (33,011), Bukhara (32,624), the Republic of Karakalpakstan (29,523), Jizzakh (28,484), Navoi (18,594), and Syrdarya (15,879) regions.
