A critical-analytical meeting was held at the Navoi regional department of internal affairs under the leadership of the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs. Issues of strengthening service discipline, preventing corruption cases, and eliminating factors leading to negative behavior were discussed.
It was reported that during the 10 months of the current year, 93 negative incidents were committed by employees of internal affairs bodies. As a result, 10 employees were dismissed from the internal affairs bodies, and service inspections were appointed for another 13 employees.
The meeting strongly emphasized the need for managers to intensify daily control over personnel, and to assign tasks taking into account the service activities, social and psychological state of employees. Additionally, additional measures were identified for further developing internal affairs bodies as a more professional and people-oriented system.
