A citizen who has been sentenced several times in Andijan has been arrested again on criminal charges. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this.
According to the report, this individual, born in 1963, had previously been convicted four times under Article 273 of the Criminal Code, namely for the preparation, acquisition, storage, and other actions for the purpose of selling narcotic drugs, their analogues, or psychotropic substances.
He, together with his criminal accomplice, a citizen born in 1972, was apprehended by rapid response unit participants while selling one kilogram of hashish and 100 grams of opium narcotics to a conditional buyer for 21 thousand dollars in a Hyundai Tucson branded car. Material evidence was documented.
In another case, in Andijan region, a LACETTI branded vehicle under the control of an individual born in 1986 was stopped and inspected. It was found that there were four individuals in the car, two of whom were sellers, one was a consumer, and another was a courier.
At the same time, it became known that this organized drug group has been operating since 2021, distributing an average of 40-50 kilograms of narcotic substances per year, and primarily operating in Andijan and Fergana regions.
When the vehicle was inspected with the participation of attesting witnesses, it was discovered that one kilogram of hashish narcotic substance was hidden in the lower part of the seat, and it was documented as material evidence, the report states.
