On December 11, Energy Minister Jorabek Mirzamahmudov delivered a report at the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, providing information on measures to eliminate possible shortages at automobile gas filling stations (AGFS) in the Fergana Valley.
According to the Minister, the new initiative is being implemented in two directions: first, ensuring gas supply from a closer distance via transit pipelines in neighboring countries; second, delivering the necessary cubic meters of gas through 150 mobile gas filling modules.
"The module in Besharik will be fully operational by December 22. Currently, technological equipment and containers are being brought in. Through this system, it will be possible to deliver from 5,000 to 10,000 cubic meters of gas even when the gas station is off," said Mirzamahmudov.
The system has already been tested with 14 AGFS and will be put into operation as a reserve in the Fergana Valley after December 22. These measures are aimed at preventing methane shortages during the winter season.
