Young poet and writer who created under the pseudonym Jahongir Mirzo, a student of the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan, Jahongir Nomozov, was found dead in his home. The press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office, Hayot Shamsutdinov, informed Darakchi.uz about this.
It is reported that the incident occurred on April 15 in Pop district of Namangan region. According to preliminary information, due to changes in his mental state, he took his own life in his living quarters without being able to comprehend his own actions.
According to the forensic medical examination conclusion, it was determined that the cause of death was mechanical asphyxia resulting from compression of the neck area by a ligature. No other injuries were noted on the body.
Currently, an investigation into this case is being conducted by the prosecutor's office.
