Several individuals were detained during rapid operations targeting illegal deals related to land allocation and document formalization in the Tashkent, Kashkadarya, and Bukhara regions.
Operations conducted in collaboration with the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes uncovered several illegal cases.
The lawyer of a unitary enterprise in the Ohangaron district told his acquaintances that he could "sell" a 90-sotyk land plot allocated for poultry farming in the city of Nurafshon for 250 thousand dollars. He also promised to obtain permission for the construction of cottages on the land, demanding an additional 30 thousand dollars in return. He was apprehended while receiving 40 thousand dollars as an advance payment.
In Kashkadarya, an employee of the gas supply department was caught after agreeing to sell a 1-hectare plot of state reserve land for 500 million soums and receiving 20 thousand dollars upfront.
In another case, in Bukhara, an individual engaged in brokerage and previously convicted was detained for demanding 14 thousand dollars in exchange for changing the category of a 1,250 square meter immovable property.
Criminal cases have now been initiated regarding all these incidents. Investigative actions are ongoing, and other persons connected to the cases are also being identified.
