A woman from Uzbekistan who had been wanted for 19 years was captured in Turkey.

A 53-year-old woman has been wanted since 2006 for a crime related to materials threatening public safety and order.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs report, A.D., born in 1962, has been wanted since 2006 for a crime related to materials threatening public safety and order. As a result of rapid-investigative measures, it was established that he was hiding in Istanbul, Turkey, where he was detained and extradited to Uzbekistan.

This individual is accused of committing acts stipulated in Part 2 of Article 244-1 of the Criminal Code — preparation, storage, distribution, or display of materials threatening public safety and public order.

Furthermore, in collaboration with the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Uzbekistan and Cairo, another Uzbek citizen wanted in Egypt has been detained. At the same time, a citizen wanted in Vietnam on charges of economic and property crimes has also been brought to Uzbekistan through Interpol channels.
