Over the years, she has led social, charitable, and environmental projects, contributing to the creation of an inclusive environment in the country.
Ziroat Mirziyoyeva was born on December 4, 1964, in the city of Kokand, Fergana region. In her youth, she studied at the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Melioration, where she met her future husband—the current President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The family has three adult children: the eldest daughter Saida was born in 1984, the second daughter Shahnaza was born in 1986. The youngest child—Miralisher—was born in 2009. Ziroat Mirziyoyeva is now a grandmother to six grandchildren.
Since 2020, the First Lady has been active as the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the "Zamin" International Public Fund, implementing initiatives to assist socially vulnerable groups, support women, and address ecology and climate change. In its initial years, the Fund provided assistance to over 5,000 women.
Ziroat Mirziyoyeva is also active on the international stage. Her first foreign visit was to China. In recent years, she has participated in major forums and summits organized in countries such as Turkey, Qatar, and Azerbaijan. Last month, she participated alongside President Mirziyoyev in the COP29 summit held in Baku.
In 2023, within the framework of the 16th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization held in Tashkent, she also hosted foreign first ladies at the international forum "Children and Youth in Action—Climate Change in Central Asia."
Mirziyoyeva is also known to the public for simple moments from her family life. Sometimes her children share family photos on social networks. In 2022, her daughter Shahnaza posted a photo showing her mother preparing noodles, which sparked widespread discussion on social media.
